Crea Sullivan is an Irish composer and violinist whose work spans film, television, video games, theatre, and concert performance. She has had her work recorded by world-class ensembles including the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Budapest Art Orchestra, the Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana, and at AIR Studios in London.
Her recent credits include the short films You Can’t Keep Running (Timestorm Productions), Beef Tallow (Tulsi Shivaanand, Straight8), Better in Person (Michael Elliot), La Habitación de Eva (Daniela Rey), and the short documentary A Very Narrow Bridge (Benjamin Furman). She also composed for the stage production Bro’s (King’s Head Theatre, London, 2025), praised for its evocative sonic landscape, and co-composed the score for the video game Katto Rising Tides (Arcadia Games & ESAT, 2024). Additionally, she worked as a music copyist on Season 2 of The Buccaneers (Apple TV, 2025), featuring a score by AVAWAVES.
Crea was recently selected for the Royal Scottish National Orchestra’s Film Composers Lab, where she received mentorship from acclaimed composers John Lunn (Downton Abbey, The Last Kingdom) and Danai Kokogia. In 2025, she was chosen for the PCAM x Balance the Mix Mentorship Scheme under the guidance of leading UK TV composer Toby Jarvis, and for the No Fixed Mix Mentoring Scheme by renowned sound studio String and Tins. She also completed a six-month mentorship with award-winning composer Pieter Schlosser, and an internship with acclaimed composer Patrick Jonsson in 2024.
Her work has been recognised by industry-leading platforms: she was featured as a Demo Composer for Spitfire Audio, invited as a featured composer by EMPOWER Dublin (2025), and showcased by Trinity Orchestra in 2023.
Alongside composition, Crea is an accomplished classical violinist, regularly performing orchestral and chamber music. She has studied under Karl Sweeney and performed in leading roles including concertmaster, with appearances at Dublin’s National Concert Hall and collaborations with artists such as Jamie Duffy.
Crea received a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music to earn a Master’s in Scoring for Film, Television, and Video Games, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She previously completed a Joint Honours degree in Music and Mathematics at Trinity College Dublin, graduating with First-Class Honours. She is an active member of the Alliance for Women Film Composers, the Screen Composers Guild of Ireland, and the Society of Composers and Lyricists.
